Recent Photo-shoots

9th August 2014

Dibbsy's recent sorties included post-Flying Legends shoots with Jan Friso Roozen's Hurricane Mk IIA over Beachy Head, the recently restored Thruxton based Hurricane Mk XII in temporary Finnish Markings and The Fighter Collection's Gladiator Mk II. Shoots on the continent included a Bulgarian Air Force Mi-17 Helicopter and the awesome Blanix Aerobatic Glider Team.   


Flying Legends Calendar 2015

The launch of the 2015 Flying Legends Calendar is fast approaching so here is a sneak preview. This year marks its 20th Anniversary and Dibbsy has produced something very special to celebrate the event. RAF Memorial Flight Club

21st May 2014

Members renewing their subscription to The Official RAF Memorial Flight Club will receive four A4 photographs of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight's aircraft. Two of these were taken by Dibbsy at the Lincolnshire Lancaster Association Members day event in September 2013 and show a 5-ship flight of Spitfires and the Lancaster and Dakota in formation. Wolf Pack F-16s

15th May 2014

Dibbsy's latest overseas trip took him to Kunsan Air Base in South Korea, home of the USAF 8th Fighter Wing. This unit achieved legendary status during the Vietnam War flying F-4 Phantoms under the command of Colonel Robin Olds, who devised the Wolf Pack tactics that resulted in many Mig-21 kills.

The attached photo shows F-16s led by "Wolf" the commander of the present day Wolf Pack.

Dunkirk Spitfires

With the recent completion of the restoration of Spitfire Ia N3200 by Historic Flying Limited, there are now two Dunkirk veteran Spitfires gracing the UK skies. These magnificent machines were captured together in the Spring sunshine by John on a recent sortie out of Duxford.
